Natural Health Girl's Newsletter, #54-Can Emotional Clearing Heal Your Body?
February 06, 2009

Hi,

When addressing your health, do you think about the role your emotions play?

Whether you do or you don't, this week's article will remind you to nurture your emotional side for overall well-being and happiness.

Here's this week's article....

Can Emotional Clearing Heal Your Body?

What is Emotional Clearing?

Emotional Clearing is the process of releasing suppressed negative feelings that have become “stuck” in our subconscious. When we experience painful emotions and are unable to resolve them, they can program or imprint into our cells. When these cells replicate, they do so with the negative imprint. This is how our negative feelings become reality in our physical body and display themselves as disease.

The process of emotional clearing is uncovering unresolved feelings and reprogramming the body’s cells with a positive imprint. If this is done effectively, the body will display this new reality and disease is overcome.

What is the process?

An important first step toward emotional clearing is to acknowledge that there are other levels of health beyond just the physical manifestation of the disease and its symptoms. These other levels include the mind and the emotions, which are tied together with the spirit and the soul.

Second, there needs to be a willingness to “let go” of emotional baggage. Sometimes, emotional baggage is so old, we don’t remember it.

So, how can a person address old emotions?

One process that is beneficial with emotional blockages from the past is essential oil therapy. Even if we recognize our negative emotional patterns, our attempts to change can be stagnated because of the locked emotional imprints in our cells. Here, the use of essential oils to help facilitate the release of negative emotions from our cells is very valuable.

Here are some ways to use essential oils for emotional clearing.

  • Use in a compress to penetrate skin

  • Use as a massage oil by mixing with a massage oil base

  • Apply to the hands and feet at acupuncture points

  • Disperse in the air with a humidifier, vaporizer, diffuser or sprayer

  • Take orally (CAUTION: Only some essential oils can be taken orally. Read labels and essential oil books to see which one can be ingested. Some oils are for aromatherapy only.)

  • Wear as a perfume or cologne
