Natural Health Girl's Newsletter, #52-How to Buy from Yourself
January 07, 2009

Hi,

Happy New Year! As I learned from my husband, Allen, "Whoo, Hooo!"

In this edition, I'd like to talk about money and health, because we all know that money stresses and how much money we have can affect our health.

Even though my family doesn't live extravagantly, I know too often I feel like my money is gone too quickly.

My husband was the first person to mention to me that money is just "a tool". As with any tool, it's best to learn how to use it to our proper benefit.

I'm not a paid financial advisor, but I have learned of some "money tool" opportunities.

With that in mind, let me ask, "Is your money burning away to quickly?" Have you thought about how to hold on to more of your hard earned money in 2009?

One easy and smart way to keep more of your money is to buy from yourself.

So, how do you do that?

Well, let me tell you how I do it. But first, let's rewind about thirteen years.

Thirteen years ago, I didn't know about or understand the concept of "buying from yourself". The only type of buying I understood was buying from someone else at the local stores in my area. I was limited to what I could find and buy in those days because of my rural location.

The only other type of purchasing that gave greater access to goods was buying from a catalog. Honestly, I didn't use catalogs much. The main catalogs I knew of in those days were Sears and JcPenny.

Today access to goods from around the world is only a click away on the computer. Which is neat, but are you "buying from yourself" and keeping more of your own money?

Anyways, to make this story shorter, in the 90's and even more so within the last 10 years, along came a burst of success with direct marketing. Direct marketing is where business skips the middle man and brings the consumer on board as part of their company. Ya gotta love it!

I learned about direct purchasing or direct marketing from a close mentor of mine. And for the last 12 years, I have been a VIP member with a direct marketing company named Nature's Sunshine.

Nature’s Sunshine began almost 35 years ago. Their product line includes a large selection of herbal formulas, vitamins, liquids, homeopathic remedies and other natural supplements, plus skin care, aromatherapy products and more.

As a member of Nature's Sunshine, I am also granted FREE of charge the status of distributor, so this means that when I buy Nature's Sunshine products, I am buying from myself, saving money and getting money back in rebates!

So, as a VIP member with Nature's Sunshine, I am part of the company and have access to a wide variety of perks that normal brick and mortar stores just don't offer. The main perk with Nature's Sunshine is top of the line products made with integrity and the customer's health and welfare in mind, at direct whole sale prices, which are delivered quickly and conveniently to me in the comfort of my home.

Now as a distributor/member, I can choose to just buy when I need something and get the great savings, or I can decide to build my "piece of the pie" for greater rewards. There are no other obligations to buy as long my membership is current. No quotas, points or monthly limits to meet. I just purchase when I need something. That's it!

So, why am I sharing all this with you? Because, I think now more than ever for a lot of us, we need to find smart ways to use our money. In the long run, we all want more money for the desirable things and less stress about money, especially so it doesn't affect our health.

There are a lot of costs in our lives that we just don't have much control over, such as gasoline and utility prices. We do what we can to be more efficient but the bottom line is that when those prices rise, we are at the mercy of the producers.

To answer the question of, "why am I sharing all this?", it's because smart money management is good for our environment, our health, our family and every part of ourselves.

I'm sharing because at one time I didn't know such an opportunity existed until someone shared with me. It was so easy for me to join, so I did. Now, I "buy from myself" and save money, time and stress in purchasing the necessities I need for my life. Plus, I LOVE the perks.

So, back to my VIP membership. This means that I can...

  1. Purchase products at wholesale cost and save up to 33% off retail.

  2. Receive rebates of up to 30% on my own purchases.

  3. Receive up to 40% bonuses on the product purchases of those I sponsor.

  4. Receive industry-leading commissions and overrides.

  5. Shop from the comfort of my home and choose from over 500 quality products to meet the health, home and personal care needs of myself and my family.

Also as a member, I receive special offers, product discounts and company publications. I am able to attend educational seminars and events that promote my understanding of health and business.

So, I encourage you to use your money as a tool, protect and promote your health and if you can do all that
in one swoop, all the better!
