Do you see the debate against vaccinations as black and white or filled with grey areas? Until now, were you even aware that there was a debate against vaccinations? Fourteen years ago, I was unaware that vaccines were an issue for debate. I simply accepted them as a good thing and believed what I was told about them. But then, I became pregnant and stumbled across a book that forever changed the way I looked at my health, the health of my unborn child and health information in general. Something resonated to the core of me when I read that little book and the case it made against vaccinations. It sent me on a mission to discover more. I needed to know, because I needed to make the decision to vaccinate or to not vaccinate my newborn baby.
The more I learned the more I doubted the benefits of vaccines, and I even started wondering about the dangers. I believe in Divine intervention, and along my journey of learning, I encountered someone who had a vaccine injured child.
She was a single mom working to support herself and her sick child. Professionals told her to institutionalize him, but she refused and learned all she could to help him. Through her efforts, she learned of detoxing the vaccine poisons from his body through diet, homeopathics and supplements. She also worked with him one-on-one with physical therapy, language and other learning. She told me that he had improved dramatically but that he would never be the same happy, healthy child he was before the vaccinations. I often wonder how their life went. The encounter I had with her was brief, but it forever influenced me.
I later came to realize the my own health issues as a child and later as an adult with irritable bowel syndrome could be linked to vaccinations. When I was in college, I received an MMR booster shot, it was during that time that irritable bowel became an issue for me. In some studies, the MMR vaccine has been linked to digestive disorders. This is easy for me to accept because a lot of drugs have negative effects on the digestive system.
For me, the vaccine issue is not a grey area, but very black and white. I do not support them in any way. I can honestly say that I am against vaccinations. There are so many other ways to harmoniously protect and heal our bodies.
I no longer believe the vaccine industry's "scare tactics". I don't expect that everyone will magically change their opinions and believe as I do, but I do hope that the information I share will somewhere along the line help someone make more informed decisions on their health and vaccinations. Before you trust anyone with your health or the health of your children, please research your options as thoroughly as you can. Don't take any one person's opinion "for" or "against" vaccinations as your own without doing your own research and finding your own conviction. Learn what you can and listen to your gut.
I have a friend that last year learned her little boy's severe allergies are linked to vaccinations he received. This poor little boy has had trouble with extreme rashes, throwing up and illness stemming from a depressed immune system. As a mother who knows her children inside and out and also through the correlative data, there is no doubt in her mind her son's health problems are vaccine induced. It's been a hard walk for this family.
The reason I say "listen to your gut" is because many years ago, I had a gut reaction to what I read about the dangers of vaccinations and I listened to it. I'm very thankful that I did. My friend with the vaccine injured child confided in me that before several of her son's vaccinations, she had a bad feeling about them, but she dismissed it. She was very sad about making that decision. Fortunately, the last time I talked with her, his health had improved since she had implemented natural health ways to detox his body and to care for him.
There is a lot of propaganda, bullying, scare tactics and name calling going on trying to cloud this issue and to get you to make the decision others think you should make. After investigation into both sides of the issue, what do YOU believe? Not what does your doctor, mom, neighbor or government tell you to believe...what do YOU truly feel in your heart is best for you or your children?
