Alkaline Food List for Balancing
Your Body's PH


The following alkaline food list is important to know and understand when learning about health. Your body has it own biological terrain that must be kept at slightly alkaline levels for best health.

I like to use the example of a fish tank. If you don't keep it maintained at a proper pH level, what happens? The waste and contaminants build up, and the fish die. The same goes for our bodies. If you let your internal body fluids get imbalanced with toxins, conditions are right for disease.

So, what is the proper pH level for our body?




Human blood pH should be slightly alkaline at about 7.35 - 7.45. Symptoms and disease set in below or above this range. 7.0 is neutral, and a pH below 7.0 is acidic. A pH above 7.0 is alkaline.


A simple way to test your body's pH is to use pH test strips. They are inexpensive and easy to use. You can learn more about pH and pH testing by reading the article I have titled "What You Don't Know About Your pH Might Surprise You".


Purchase a pH testing kit and make sure you're in the proper range.


Then, use the alkaline food list below to make adjustments to your diet if needed.

A diet consisting of 60% alkaline forming foods and 40% acid forming foods will maintain your health. A diet consisting of 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acid forming foods is optimum for restoring health.
