Unique Cabbage Salad Recipe

A great cabbage salad recipe to share with friends or to take to any gathering!

In a bowl, combine the following:

  • Shredded cabbage
  • Cut up broccoli
  • Chopped walnuts
  • Dried cranberries

Honey Poppy Seed Dressing:

In a separate bowl combine these ingredients, blend and pour over salad mixture.

  • 3/4 C. Vegenaise or mayo
  • 1/4 C. raw honey
  • 1-2 T. poppy seeds (to your taste)
  • 1 T. dijon mustard or mustard
  • Sprinkle Himalayan salt or sea salt and pepper to taste.

Cabbage is high in vitamin K, C and B6, fiber, manganese and folate. It is also a good source of omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin B1 and B2, calcium and potassium.

Cabbage is highly regarded for it's health benefits in treating inflammation and cancer. It's rich nutrients give great support to the digestive and cardiovascular systems.
