I have this quote by Abraham Lincoln on a plaque, "Live a good life and in the end, it's not the years in the life, it's the life in the years." Sometimes I have fears about not living a long life or being fearful for the lives of loved ones. This saying helps me remember to make the most of everyday, and to not let these fears rob me of my best life.
Part of living life to the fullest is not letting fear get a foothold over us. On the upside, fear can be a positive motivator for us, but on the downside, it can sabatoge and paralyze our lives in many ways. One negative side effect is the harm fear can have on our health.
The connection between the nervous system, emotions and health is well recognized by science and natural health. There is growing documentation on how emotions chemically affect the body. Thus, it is important not to overlook this crucial piece to our health. Dealing with unresolved emotions and conflicting beliefs should be part of the action taken when a health issue arises.
Is this article, I am addresssing how to overcome fear. Fear can have a detrimental affect on the kidneys, adrenals and the heart. In order to avoid experiencing health issues with any of these body systems, take a deeper look at fears you're holding onto. This is especially critical if you are already experiencing signs of distress in these areas.

Acknowledgement - The first step to overcoming fear is to acknowledge it. Once acknowledged, the neural pathways for the unwanted fear emotion can be rearranged.
New Reality - Everything in reality was first a thought, so in order to create a new reality and release the fear, you need a new thought and belief to replace the old one.
Affirmations are one way of creating new thought patterns and new neural pathways. The more you can think, write and say an affirmation the quicker you'll be able to create a new healthy way of thinking and feeling.
Elevate Higher - Your body is frequency so having positive thoughts and beliefs will make your body's frequency vibrate higher. Disease vibrates at lower frequencies.
Other ways to elevate your body's frequency is through the use of homeopathic remedies and essentail oils.

Don't let fear paralyze you and steal you of your best life. Acknowledge it, feel it and move past it. Fear can be used as a tool to help us grow and learn, but it doesn't have to diminish who we are and who we want to become.
